The City Colleges of Chicago and the City Colleges of Chicago Foundation proudly celebrated the ongoing partnership with the PepsiCo Foundation at Olive-Harvey College on Tuesday, September 29. This collaboration continues to transform City Colleges students through impactful investments that remove barriers and create clear pathways to careers.
The celebration highlighted the powerful impact of the PepsiCo Foundation's scholarships, which work to provide City Colleges students with critical financial support to gain access to high-skill, high wage jobs in their communities.
The event also marked the donation of two trucks from PepsiCo's Fleet Team to Olive-Harvey's Diesel Technology program. The donation further empowers City Colleges students, giving them access to hands-on experience that will prepare them for in-demand careers.
Attendees heard from Olive-Harvey College President Hollingsworth, City Colleges Chancellor Juan Salgado, and Jonathan George, Director of Social Impact programs at PepsiCo, as well as scholarship recipient and Olive-Harvey supply chain student Mbali Tshangana.
The City Colleges of Chicago and City Colleges of Chicago Foundation are deeply grateful to the PepsiCo Foundation for their steadfast partnership and dedication to supporting City Colleges students as they work toward brighter futures.
