President of Moldova to pay working visit to Finland

President of the Republic of Moldova Maia Sandu will pay a working visit to Finland on Tuesday 31 March 2026. The visit will be hosted by President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb.
President Stubb and President Sandu will meet at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki to discuss bilateral relations between Finland and Moldova, as well as Russia's illegal war of aggression in Ukraine, the overall security situation in Europe, Moldova's EU accession process, transatlantic relations, and global challenges. Minister for Foreign Affairs Elina Valtonen and Moldovan Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov will also take part in the discussions.
During her visit, President Sandu will also meet with Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering Joakim Strand and participate in a discussion on Moldova's EU accession process, organised by the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA), at the Parliament of Finland.
