Diligent Announces Integration with CivicPlus DocAccess, Helping Public Sector Organizations Expand Access to Supporting Documents at Scale
New York, NY, September 22, 2026 - Diligent, the AI leader in governance, risk and compliance (GRC) solutions, and CivicPlus®, a public sector SaaS leader, today announced the DocAccess integration with Diligent Community, an accessibility solution that helps public sector organizations automatically generate screen-reader-friendly HTML alternatives for both archived and newly uploaded PDF documents at scale. The collaboration helps reduce compliance risk, lower operational burdens, and expand access to public information.

It detects PDFs uploaded to agenda packets, supporting documents and libraries, then generates an accessible HTML experience alongside the original. With more than 250 built-in language translations, DocAccess expands access for multilingual communities, while navigation and search make complex public-facing documents easier to use. Together, these capabilities provide a scalable way to improve accessibility across supporting documents, attachments and archives.
The partnership comes as public sector organizations face increasing requirements to improve the accessibility of websites, digital documents, and meeting materials in support of ADA Title II readiness and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Diligent Community helps public sector boards, councils and committees run more efficient meetings, improve transparency and build community trust. Now with DocAccess, organizations can extend that accessible foundation beyond agendas and minutes to improving accessibility coverage for PDF documents, attachments and archives.
