The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, held an expanded-format meeting with the President of the Slovak Republic, Peter Pellegrini, with the participation of their respective delegations.

The parties discussed the principal areas of bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Slovakia, including sector-specific collaboration, as well as prospects for its further deepening.

Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of strengthening economic relations, promoting the development of tourism, and fostering people-to-people contacts.
