Bryan County…
Traffic Shift Advisory for the US 280 Widening Project
WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) contractors will shift traffic into a permanent, two-lane configuration on US 280/State Route (SR) 30 at the I-16 westbound roundabout. The shift involves removing old and temporary striping and placing signage and barrels.

These construction activities require flagging and pacing in the area. Officers will be on-site to assist. Drivers should expect delays.

The US 280 Widening project is part of the larger US 280, I-16 Frontage, and Old Cuyler Road Interchange Improvement projects that will provide more efficient access to new developments in Bryan County. The improvement projects include roadway widening, construction of roundabouts, a new frontage road along I-16, and a new location interchange on I-16.

*NOTE: Work schedule is subject to change. Check Georgia DOT's The Network page for the latest updates.
