Mother’s Day Showcase at Noelridge Greenhouse Returns with Thousands of Spring Blooms

Cedar Rapids Parks & Recreation invites the community to celebrate Mother's Day surrounded by color, fragrance, and fresh spring growth at the Mother's Day Showcase at Noelridge Greenhouse on Sunday, May 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Noelridge Greenhouse, 4900 Council Street NE. This free, family-friendly event offers a relaxed and welcoming way to spend the day while enjoying one of Cedar Rapids' favorite spring traditions.

Visitors can stroll through the greenhouse as it comes alive with thousands of blooms, from vibrant annuals to lush tropical plants, creating a bright and inspiring setting for gardeners of all experience levels. Whether you're planning a special outing, looking for a unique gift, or ready to jump into the growing season, the showcase offers something for everyone.

The Mother's Day Showcase includes:
  • Thousands of annuals, including more than 100 varieties of coleus
  • A large selection of Iowa native plants, featuring more than 70 species
  • Tropical and succulent houseplants for indoor spaces
  • Local vendors and gardening organizations sharing plants, products, and expertise
Hosted in partnership with Friends of Noelridge, the showcase continues a long-standing tradition of bringing the community together to celebrate gardening, connection, and the start of the growing season.
