Nielsen on list of 100 Best Corporate Citizens for second year in a row

We're proud to announce that Nielsen has been named as one of the 100 Best Corporate Citizens for the second year in a row by 3BL Media.

"I'm proud of how we all live Nielsen's values in the company and in our communities," said David Kenny, CEO and Chief Diversity Officer, Nielsen. "This is especially important when people are suffering from systemic racism, a stalled economy and a health pandemic. This recognition should encourage us to keep doing as much as we can to act on our values."

Our Global Responsibility & Sustainability commitments at Nielsen include all environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues that affect our employees, external stakeholders, operations, and business. Through community giving and support, as well as responsible, sustainable business practices, we're delivering exceptional value across all of our stakeholder groups.

At Nielsen, we're focused on interconnected ESG areas, including our belief in the importance of fostering diversity and inclusion and integrity in everything we do; our commitment to engaging our employees in meaningful ways; our efforts to mobilize our data and expertise to positively impact our communities; and more. We've linked our ESG strategy and external reporting efforts as part of a cohesive cycle focused on continuous improvement. And we share our ongoing journey through our Nielsen Global Responsibility Report and regular updates.

This year's 3BL Media 100 Best Corporate Citizens list recognizes outstanding ESG transparency and performance among the 1,000 largest, publicly-traded U.S. companies. Each company is ranked based on its transparency and performance across 141 different environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors in eight categories: climate change, employee relations, environment, financial, governance, ESG performance, human rights, and stakeholders and society. The factors provide a measure of each company's relative performance and progress over time as it relates to their policies and practices across the ESG areas that matter most to their stakeholders and business.
