The Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) is experiencing a national disruption. During this disruption, the Court will continue to accept filings, open cases, and process documents according to standard procedures. However, there may be a delay in the entry and service of notices and orders from the Court as well as the service of 341 Notices until this matter is resolved.
The BNC is temporarily unable to process and distribute electronic and paper notices on behalf of the Court.
The following websites and services are also affected:
The Court's CM/ECF system remains operational. Notices of Electronic Filing (NEFs) continue to be transmitted to registered electronic filers through CM/ECF.
Information for Attorneys, Trustees, and Registered Electronic Filers
The BNC disruption is also affecting CM/ECF users' access to the mailing matrix. Until resolved, CM/ECF users seeking to serve pleadings and delegated notices/orders may access the list of creditors and addresses within a case through the following process:
Accessing the List of Creditors:
Please note that the list of creditors does not include all interested parties to a case, such as the debtor(s), trustees, or the U.S. Trustee. You can also use the "Query" option to access "Party" information, such as the trustee, the U.S. Trustee and other parties who have made an appearance.
Parties and counsel should review service requirements to ensure that notice is provided to all appropriate parties, including those not listed on CM/ECF's list of creditors.
Information for Self-Represented Debtors and Unrepresented Creditors
Individuals who ordinarily receive court notices by U.S. mail should be aware that delivery of official bankruptcy notices may be delayed.
During this disruption, the following resources remain available:
Court Hearings and Deadlines
All scheduled court hearings and existing deadlines remain in effect unless otherwise ordered by the Court.
Parties should continue to monitor their cases and comply with applicable deadlines and court orders.
The BNC service disruption does not automatically extend filing deadlines or postpone scheduled hearings. Any request for an extension of time or other relief must be made in accordance with applicable law and court procedures and is subject to judicial determination.
Additional Information
The Court is monitoring the nationwide BNC disruption and working to assess its impact on the transmission and delivery of official court notices.
We appreciate your patience and understanding while these services are restored.
Updates will be posted on the Court's website as additional information becomes available.
