Neighborhood Celebration event set for April 11

"Each year, Tempe community members come out in droves to laugh, learn and connect at the park," Mayor Corey Woods said. "Compassionate, connected and uniquely Tempe neighborhoods are sources of comfort, strength and beauty for the residents who live in them. The Neighborhood Celebration is a chance to honor and build on Tempe's strong community bonds. I look forward to seeing everyone there."

While this event encourages community bonding, it also celebrates those who go above and beyond serving the Tempe community. Earlier this year, Tempe asked residents to nominate their neighbors for awards. Award possibilities include honors for individuals, neighborhoods, spaces, events or initiatives. Winners will be recognized at the event.
