Norton Rose Fulbright expands Europe securitisation practice with new partner hire

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has announced the appointment of Samir Bensaker as a partner in its securitisation and structured finance practice.

Samir joins Norton Rose Fulbright from Gide Loyrette Nouel, where he developed a leading transactional finance practice focused on securitisation and related structured finance transactions, primarily in connection with the French market.

Samir has worked across traditional securitisation transactions, credit portfolio sales and acquisitions and risk transfer transactions, as well as regulatory advice under key frameworks such as the EU Securitisation Regulation, the NPL Directive and the CRR. He has advised on a broad range of asset classes, including trade receivables, consumer and SME loans, residential mortgages, renewable energy, and infrastructure.

He is dual-qualified in France and England & Wales and will operate across Norton Rose Fulbright's London and Paris offices.
