Lt. Governor Miller, Maryland Department of Transportation to Unveil Frederick Douglass Roadside Historical Marker with Douglass Descendants and Relatives
The Maryland Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Maryland Historical Trust, will hold an unveiling ceremony for a roadside historical marker to commemorate Frederick Douglass' birth in Talbot County, self-liberation from slavery, and work as an abolitionist, orator and human rights advocate.
