MALAYSIA CONDEMNS ISRAEL’S BLOCKADE OF HUMANITARIAN AID FOR THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE

MALAYSIA CONDEMNS ISRAEL'S BLOCKADE OF HUMANITARIAN AID FOR

THE PALESTINIAN PEOPLE

Malaysia unequivocally condemns Israel's brutal actions of blocking badly needed humanitarian aid from reaching the Palestinians in Gaza as the Zionist regime continues its ethnic cleansing and genocide in the Palestinian Territory.

Deliberately preventing essential basic needs such as food, water, fuel and medical supplies into Gaza to starve, weaken, and collectively punish the people of Gaza is clearly inhumane and incomprehensible, as they are already struggling to survive the worst humanitarian catastrophe the world has seen in decades.

This morally reprehensible action by the regime is also a gross violation of international humanitarian law and a blatant disregard of basic human rights.

Malaysia reaffirms our unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and plight, and strongly urges the United Nations Security Council and international community to take immediate and decisive action to get Israel to stop such actions and hold the regime accountable for its continued and brazen inhumane actions.

Malaysia reiterates its call for an immediate end to the conflict and bloodshed in Gaza, as well as for the full restoration of Palestinian rights, including the right to self-determination and statehood based on pre-1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

Malaysia remains steadfast in our solidarity with the people of Palestine, and will continue to advocate for peace, freedom and justice on all international platforms.
