Celebration of the State Independence Day of Tajikistan

On October 11, 2024, on the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the celebration of the State Independence Day of Tajikistan took place.

The ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Mr. Roman Sklyar, along with heads and representatives of state bodies, diplomatic corps accredited in Kazakhstan, international and public organizations, prominent figures from fields of science and art, local entrepreneurs of the country of residence, as well as fellow compatriots.

During his speech, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Khayrullo Ibodzoda spoke about the development of the country and its achievements during the period of state independence and at the same time particularly noted the main and effective role of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of Nation H.E. Emomali Rahmon in this fateful process of statehood formation for Tajiks.

The expansion of international relations and the growth of influence and prestige of independent Tajikistan in the world arena, as well as the sustainable development of friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between our country and the Republic of Kazakhstan were emphasized.

As part of this event, an exhibition was organized, which presented the tourist opportunities of our country, books of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, products of folk crafts, such as national clothing, handicrafts, embroidery, samples of spinning and weaving products, paintings, national stone and wooden objects, national knives, musical instruments, etc.

In addition, young artists from the "NOMAD" Academy of Choreography from the country of residence delighted the guests with traditional Tajik dances.
