UNSSC’s The Blue Line named Learning Platform of the Year

The United Nations System Staff College (UNSSC)'s The Blue Line has been awarded the Gold Award for Learning Platform of the Year at The Learning Awards 2026, organized by the Learning and Performance Institute (LPI).

The category recognizes the transformative impact that an effective learning platform can have on an organization's people and performance. The judges unanimously selected The Blue Line for the highest distinction, commending its sustained commitment to delivering high-quality, accessible learning opportunities across the United Nations (UN) system.

Over the past five years, The Blue Line has evolved into a dynamic global learning ecosystem, with 60 per cent of the UN workforce connected worldwide. The platform enables self-directed, personalized learning at scale, supporting collaboration, knowledge exchange and continuous professional development.

Designed to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing and continuous professional development, the platform supports learning that is responsive to the complex and evolving needs of the UN system.
