Community Discussion on Waste Management set for November 21

Community members are invited to a discussion regarding waste processing and reduction Friday, November 21. The free event, "Waste Matters: A Community Discussion," will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Indian Center, 1100 Military Rd.

The event reflects the City's commitment to helping residents, businesses, and visitors reduce and reuse waste more effectively. Lincoln Transportation and Utilities (LTU) staff will provide information about local waste management practices and how community members can contribute to a more sustainable Lincoln.

Community members are encouraged to share their perspectives and contribute to discussions about waste management in Lincoln.
