Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović meets with Hungarian Minister for European Affairs Bóka

Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs Filip Ivanović met in Budapest with Minister for European Union Affairs of Hungary János Bóka. During the meeting, Hungary's strong support for the European Union's enlargement policy and the European perspective of the Western Balkans was reaffirmed.

Minister Bóka emphasized that Montenegro is a leading candidate in the EU accession process and noted that its further progress could provide a strong impetus to the pace of enlargement in the region.

Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović stressed that European integration remains Montenegro's key foreign policy priority, with a clear commitment to continuing reforms and accelerating the negotiation process.

The two officials agreed that the stability and development of the Western Balkans depend on a credible and continuous EU enlargement process.
