Chinese Embassy in South Sudan Holds the Symposium on Key Outcomes of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC and Jointly Advancing Modernization by[...]

On October 30, the Chinese Embassy in South Sudan held the symposium themed "Key Outcomes of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC and Jointly Advancing Modernization by China and South Sudan". H.E. Ma Qiang, Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan, Ms. Huo Ying, Deputy Chief of the Mission, H.E. Tong Xiaoling, Vice President of the China Public Diplomacy Association, Hon. Gen. Kuol Manyang Juuk, Senior Presidential Advisor of South Sudan, and senior officials from the ruling party Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM), as well as over 20 renowned Chinese and South Sudanese scholars, experts, and senior media representatives attended the event both online and offline .

H.E. Ma provided an in-depth interpretation of the significant meaning of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC and the key aspects of the proposals for the 15th Five-Year Plan. He stated that China is ready to jointly push for advancing modernization together with South Sudan, promoting common development, and delivering greater benefits to our two peoples.

The South Sudanese side spoke highly of the CPC's practice of successively formulating and implementing medium- and long-term national plans, regarding it as an important reason for the success of Chinese modernization. They expressed South Sudan's willingness to actively learn from relevant experiences and continuously deepen two sides' practical cooperation in various fields.

H.E. Ma also presented attending guests with the English version of the fifth volume of "Xi Jinping: The Governance of China".
