In his speech, the Secretary General emphasized the significance of the Global Governance Initiative proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the SCO+ meeting in Tianjin on September 1 of this year. He highlighted the alignment of this idea with the principles of the "Shanghai Spirit," as well as the efforts of SCO member states to build a representative, democratic, fair, and multipolar world order.
The Secretary General also reported on the achievements of the SCO over its 24 years of development, particularly the outcomes of the Tianjin summit. The initiatives and proposals of the SCO heads of state were noted, and the Secretariat's firm commitment to facilitating their practical implementation and supporting Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship was underscored.
