Congratulations to our fall 2025 Active Learning 101 completers!

Active Learning 101 is a three-hour certificated course designed to equip Georgia College & State University instructors with the principles, instructional materials, technology and learning spaces needed to effectively implement active learning strategies. Through hands-on, modeled experiences, participants engage in interactive learning and gain access to valuable resources to support the integration of active learning into their courses. During the sessions, participants will explore and apply active learning techniques that enhance student engagement and deepen learning.

Upon completing this course series, participants can incorporate these strategies to foster higher-order thinking, increase student motivation and facilitate the application and transfer of knowledge in their classrooms.
