DALLAS - Dallas ISD is hitting the road this summer with its Summer Food Bus Tour 2026, bringing free, nutritious meals directly to neighborhoods across the city. Using the district's Fork & Axle food bus, children 18 and younger - and up to age 21 for those with disabilities - can receive no-cost meals from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at designated community stops throughout June. The initiative helps reduce barriers to food access and supports families by ensuring students stay healthy and nourished while school is out.

Class of 2026 graduation ceremonies continue
Dallas ISD's Class of 2026 is ready to celebrate graduation with classmates, educators, and loved ones. Commencement ceremonies start at 9 a.m., Saturday, May 30, at Ellis Davis Field House with James Madison High School. Dozens more will follow throughout the weekend, honoring the achievements of thousands of graduates across the district.
