Overnight closures on Colbern Rd and NB MO 291 for pavement repairs, June 7-8

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct overnight closures on Missouri Highway 291 northbound and Colbern road eastbound/westbound for asphalt repair operations. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Sunday, June 7 until Monday, June 8 overnight between approx. 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

  • Crews will close the ramp from MO-291 NB to I-470 NB
  • Crews will close Colbern Road eastbound/westbound at the bridge over MO-291

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
