YouthBuild of Greater Lowell Rehabilitates Gazebos in Lowell Parks

This summer, the talented construction team at YouthBuild of Greater Lowell at Community Teamwork took on an incredible project: rehabilitating gazebos at Muldoon Park, Sweeney Park, and Ducharme Park.

Led by Christina Shanahan and Alexander Perry, 21 YouthBuild students put their training into action, restoring these important community spaces with skill, dedication, and heart. From replacing rotting floors to giving the gazebos new life, their work will be enjoyed by residents for years to come. Along the way, they were supported by neighbors who stopped by to cheer them on-even treating them to lunch and ice cream on hot days.
