Judicial Nominating Board seeking applicants for Superior Judge vacancies

The Judicial Nominating Board is seeking applicants for the Superior Judge vacancies created by the upcoming retirement of Judge Lisa Warren, effective September 1, 2026, and the untimely passing of Judge H. Dickson Corbett.

The successful candidate for the Judge Warren vacancy will be assigned, regardless of residence, to the Northeastern area of the North Region of the Superior Court, with primary assignments to the Washington, Lamoille, Caledonia, Essex, and Orleans units. The appointment will be effective for a term that expires on March 31, 2030.

The successful candidate for the Judge Corbett vacancy will be assigned, regardless of current residence, to the East Region of the Superior Court, with primary assignments to the Orange, Windsor, and Windham units. The appointment will be effective for a term that expires on March 31, 2031.
