Bay County Board of Commissioners Sworn In & Officers Elected

On January 2, 2025, Bay County Board of Commission members were sworn in before their yearly organizational meeting to elect officers for 2025. During that meeting Tim Banaszak was elected Chairman of the Board, Vaughn Begick was elected Vice Chairman, and Christopher Rupp was elected Sergeant at Arms.

The Bay County Board of Commissioners serves as your representative in county government and they set policy for the county, adopt/monitor the budget, set fees, and much more. The board meets the third Tuesday of every month at 4:00 PM on the 4th floor of the Bay County Building (515 Center Avenue). Their meetings can also be live streamed at www.youtube.com/baycountymi
