Geneva/Tashkent, 11 November 2025 - FIATA today unveiled its 2025 Market Report, providing a comprehensive analysis of global logistics trends, with a special focus on the Asia-Pacific region. The launch coincides with the 4th ITF Regional High-Level Dialogue for Asia, held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, under the auspices of the International Transport Forum (ITF).
The 2025 Report examines the evolving logistics landscape across air, maritime, rail, and road transport in Asia-Pacific, highlighting growth, digitalisation, and sustainability initiatives shaping regional supply chains. It incorporates results from FIATA's Region Asia-Pacific Industry Perception Survey 2025, capturing insights directly from industry stakeholders on emerging opportunities, challenges, and innovations driving the sector forward.
FIATA Director General Dr Stéphane Graber commented:
"Digital transformation, sustainability, and collaboration are reshaping logistics. Freight forwarders are not just adapting - they are driving innovation and resilience across supply chains. The 4th ITF High-Level Dialogue for Asia showed that success relies on cooperation and joint action. This new Market Report on the Region Asia-Pacific provides a solid foundation to understand current realities and emerging trends, enabling us to build a logistics ecosystem that is agile, transparent, and connected."
The launch builds on FIATA's strengthened engagement in Asia throughout 2025, following the 2025 FIATA World Congress in Hanoi, Vietnam, under the theme Green & Resilient Logistics, and the Federation's active engagement at the ITF Tashkent Dialogue. Together, these milestones reinforce FIATA's dedication to fostering regional cooperation and strengthening global connectivity.
Unlike FIATA's policy-oriented publications, the 2025 Market Report delivers data-driven insights into current market dynamics, inviting further exchange and reflection among industry and policymakers. It provides recommendations on aligning policy and investment to support resilient and green infrastructure, while empowering freight forwarders through innovation and collaboration. The report highlights the importance of coordinated multimodal strategies, underpinned by technology and analytics, in enhancing logistics performance and shaping the future of trade.
With its release at the ITF Regional Dialogue, FIATA reaffirms its commitment to supporting governments, industry, and stakeholders with data-driven intelligence that informs policy, strengthens advocacy, and encourages sustainable growth across regions.
