DNC Congratulates Democratic Nominee Bobby Pulido on His Victory in the Texas Democratic Congressional District 15 Primary Arrow

Last night, Democrat Bobby Pulido clinched victory in the Texas Democratic primary for U.S. Congressional District 15. Pulido will never stop fighting to put working Texans first.

While Republicans continue to hemorrhage support, especially among Latino voters, as Trump and Republicans' deeply unpopular policies raise costs on Texas families, the DNC is all-in to support Pulido, who will fight day and night to protect health care, lower costs, and build a more affordable South Texas.

In response to Pulido's victory, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

"The DNC congratulates Bobby Pulido, a fighter and long-time community leader who will never stop working to put South Texans first. He ran a primary campaign speaking directly about what Texas families care most about, from the rising cost of electricity and utilities to the health care crisis unleashed by Donald Trump and Texas Republicans like Monica De La Cruz. Since Trump took office, he and De La Cruz have failed to deliver on their promises to Latino voters, which is why Trump's approval rating among Latino voters has never been worse. From now until November, the DNC will be on offense, going all-in to support him to ensure Texas' 15th Congressional District has a leader who will stand up for them, not Donald Trump."
