Heffley Hosting Family Resources and Addiction Prevention Expo

WHAT: Rep. Doyle Heffley (R-Carbon) is hosting his annual Family Resources and Addiction Prevention Expo to give families a better understanding of the local resources available to prevent addiction and support recovery.
The expo will feature an impaired and distracted driving simulator, mock bedroom, prescription drug drop off box, and state and local vendors.
The event is being held on the came night as Carbon Career and Technical Institute's annual open house to make it easter for families to attend both events and learn about local education and prevention resources in one convenient location.
WHEN: Wednesday, Oct. 15, 5-8 p.m.
WHERE: Carbon Career and Technical Institute, 150 W. 13th St., Jim Thorpe
