The Alexandria Mentoring Partnership (AMP) is continuing to celebrate its 20th anniversary and inviting community members to learn how they can support local youth through volunteer mentor opportunities. Visit AMP's Mentor Open House to meet program staff, explore volunteer roles, and find a mentoring opportunity that matches your interests. AMP is one of the community initiatives led by the Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities.

Who can become a mentor?
Individuals ages 21 and older interested in volunteering as mentors are eligible to sign up for mentor opportunities. Community members of all ages are welcome to stop by and learn more about AMP, and families are welcome to attend together; however, AMP is not enrolling youth participants at this event.
AMP welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds and is especially seeking more male mentors.
