The City of Fort Worth Human Resources Department has launched applications for the 2026 NextGen Ambassador Program.
Why it matters:
The NextGen Ambassador Program is an eight-week program that will run from June 2 to July 24. The program provides students ages 17-22 with paid employment opportunities for up to 20 hours per week.
Students will explore potential careers in local government, allowing them to engage in learning experiences that help develop their skills and knowledge about the daily operations of the public sector, specifically within the City of Fort Worth.
The program will also offer sessions on professional development and skill building. These sessions will cover a variety of topics that will prepare students to work in local government or other related professions.
