Statewide - Delaware City DMV Delayed Opening

The Delaware Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Delaware City location will open at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, due to a pre-scheduled internal event.

Wilmington, Dover, and Georgetown DMV locations will open as scheduled at 11:00 AM.

Customers can also complete several DMV services online with a myDMV account:
  • Renew drivers license
  • Change address on drivers license
  • Purchase a duplicate drivers license
  • Purchase a driving record
  • Pay uninsured motorists fees
  • Schedule a road exam appointment
  • Renew registration (if the vehicle doesn't require an inspection)
  • Change address on registration
  • Purchase a duplicate registration card
  • Update emergency contacts
MyDMV online services are available 24/7. Those interested in registering for an account can do so at myDMV.delaware.gov.
