Dear Orthodox Christians and Old Believers of Lithuania,
I warmly extend my greetings to your communities on the occasion of Easter.
Each year, the celebration of the Resurrection reminds us of self-sacrifice, strengthens our hope, and invites us to open our hearts to goodness. It is a time when we especially cherish our sense of community, our trust in one another, and our faith in the triumph of light.
Faith and hope remain indestructible, strengthening also our brotherly Ukrainian people, who are celebrating this feast in the midst of war.
May this feast inspire strength and hope in your hearts.
May the light of Easter fill your homes with warmth and peace, and may the joy of the celebration accompany you in your daily lives.
