Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov meets the Ambassador of MexicoпїЅ

On September 26, 2025 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus concurrently, Eduardo Villegas Mejias.

The parties discussed the current state of Belarusian-Mexican relations, examined issues of cooperation within international organisations and developing the bilateral legal framework. Particular attention was paid to discussing steps aimed at expanding trade and economic ties and intensifying contacts between the business communities of the two countries.

During the talks, Evgeny Shestakov welcomed the opening of the office of the Honorary Consul of Mexico in Minsk, which took place on September 25.
