Rocket Solution Central took first-place honors in the 2025 Homecoming Office Decorating Competition and will be receiving the competition's traveling trophy and a free lunch awarded to their entire team.

This year's theme was "Rocky's Rockin' Rodeo," a celebration of western-themed Rocket fun. The competition was judged by the Campus Activities and Programming Board, with winners announced during Saturday's Homecoming game.

A total of 14 offices from across the University participated in this year's competition, with second place awarded to the Academic Success and Engagement, and a three-way tie between the Center for International Studies and Programs, the Center for Advocacy and Student Experience and the Division of Student Affairs.

"We were blown away by the creativity and spirit each office put into this year's 'Rocky's Rockin' Rodeo' theme," said Alex Zernechel, director of Student Engagement and Campus Events. "Every space felt unique and it was clear how much effort went into making Homecoming week feel special for students and staff alike."

Last year's first-place winner was the Judith Herb College of Education Office of the Dean/Office of Student Services.

Rocket Solution Central's "Welcome to the Wild West" theme won first place, transforming the space into a western-themed design.

Academic Success and Engagement's setup earned second place in the Homecoming Office Decorating Competition, impressing judges with its saloon atmosphere.

Third place was awarded to three offices: (from top to bottom) the Center for Advocacy and Student Experience, the Center for International Studies and Programs, and the Division of Student Affairs.
