Arboretum of Los Angeles County Announces Baldwin Lake and Tule Pond Restoration

The Arboretum of Los Angeles County has informed FilmLA that a significant project involving the dredging and restoration of Baldwin Lake and the adjacent Tule Pond will take place over the next 18 months.

Limited filming will be considered during this time under the following constraints:

  • Filming activities may not interfere with or cause delays to the restoration project.
  • Only productions with 50 or less cast & crew will be considered.
  • All areas surrounding Baldwin Lake will be off limits, including Historic Structures.
  • All Arboretum parking lots will be off limits for production use during this time. Productions will need to secure off-site parking.
  • Productions should be aware that construction-related sounds (including regular truck traffic and the use of heavy equipment) will be ongoing for the duration of the project.

FilmLA extends its appreciation to Arboretum staff for their efforts to accommodate filming requests during this extensive project.
