Meet a Buckeyes backer and a homegrown Hawkeyes fan who each have made College Football Gameday at Cosm their Saturday destination, win or lose.

The biggest College Football games of the season are at Cosm. Every week, College Football fans in Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit, and Los Angeles are transported beyond the front row to stadiums across the country to experience touchdowns, interceptions, and game-changing plays from inside the action in Shared Reality. To celebrate the ones who know Saturdays live at Cosm, we're highlighting fans across our venues each week, sharing their stories of fandom, why they live for their school's colors, and asking: When you can't be there, why should you be at Cosm for College Football?

Rini Martinez | Ohio State Fan at Cosm Detroit

As an AP Top 25-ranked team, No. 5 Ohio State is no stranger to the bright lights. Whether it's a blowout against an unranked competitor or a close game against the top team in college football, the Buckeyes take the field fighting.

And a matchup against No. 20 Iowa was no different. [?] Martinez sat among the die-hard Buckeyes fans at Cosm Detroit, cheering their team on as if they were sitting on the sidelines at Kinnick Stadium to watch the Buckeyes defeat No. 20 Iowa 31-14.

Tell me why you're a fan of Ohio State.

It's the best team in the country, and we're from the great state of Ohio. It's fun to come out here to Cosm Detroit so we can cheer on the Buckeyes. One thing is that they're always competitive every year, and we know that we're going to get the best team out there each and every week, and it's always good to go support the Buckeyes every Saturday.

What would you say is the biggest rivalry for the Buckeyes, and why?

It would be the team up north for sure, and it's always a battle every year. We're always looking forward to that Saturday after Thanksgiving, so we're looking forward to that matchup this year as well.

Are you planning on coming to Cosm for the Michigan-Ohio State game?

It's a possibility for sure. I've had a blast so far since I've been here.

What's your favorite memory about being a Buckeyes fan?

Taking my son, Nolan, to his first game when he was younger. I'm thinking about taking him to another game this year.

What's your favorite part of the Cosm experience thus far?

Obviously, the screen is crazy. There's nothing like it in this part of the U.S., so it's been a great experience. The food is good too, so why not come and enjoy downtown Detroit?

Ohio State fans went home happy after a dominant 31-14 win against No. 20 Iowa. While winning is nice-and it's very nice-it isn't everything.

Why do you root for Iowa?

I love Iowa because my mom and my dad grew up [there], and I really like the experience today.

How does watching a game here compare to watching the game at the stadium or at home?

Well, I really like the people here, and all the big TVs are really, really cool. I really like the games. Me and my brother play them.
