LOCAL NEWS | WJE Team Effort Delivers New Branded Van Wrap for Home Repairs for Good

For the past three years, our Indianapolis office has dedicated a day to volunteering with Home Repairs for Good (formerly Neighborlink) supporting their mission to provide free home repairs and maintenance for low-income senior citizens, so they can age in place with dignity.

This year, our Indianapolis staff also helped Home Repairs for Good raise funds for a branded vehicle wrap for their new work van. The team supported the initiative through outreach to potential donors to share the need and request contributions. Thanks to the generous personal donations of staff, family, and friends, approximately $2,300 was raised within a single week. These funds fully covered the cost of the vehicle wrap and provided additional support for the organization's general home repair fund, which assists homeowners in need.

Home Repairs for Good has already reported that the vehicle wrap has led to an increase in service inquiries. They also noted that the clearly branded van is bringing homeowners and neighborhoods greater comfort than their previous unmarked white van.

Additionally, Home Repairs for Good was spotlighted on the Kelly Clarkson Show on Giving Tuesday. Watch closely at the 57-second mark for a brief cameo of WJE staff in action during the office's 2025 volunteer project, where the team constructed an accessibility ramp.
