Flood Protection Level of Service Program C-7 Basin Adaptation and Mitigation Planning Study Public Meeting

The South Florida Water Management District (District) is advancing the Flood Protection Level of Service Program across the basins of its 16-county region to identify and prioritize long-term infrastructure improvements and develop an implementation strategy to ensure each basin can maintain its designated level of service in a technical and cost-effective manner.

The District is hosting a public meeting to present the final findings and recommendations of the Flood Protection Level of Service Program C-7 Basin Adaptation and Mitigation Planning Study. The findings and recommendations will be incorporated into the District's next Sea Level Rise and Flood Resiliency Plan.

The goal of this study is to evaluate planned and proposed projects across the primary, secondary, and tertiary systems to determine the infrastructure and operations necessary to provide reliable flood protection under both present and future conditions.
