Reading Hospital is recruiting dedicated individuals to join its Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC). The volunteer group will begin meeting in September 2025 and will allow community members to have a voice in local healthcare.
"Your insights and experiences can make a real difference in shaping healthcare policies and practices at our hospital," said Vaneeza Santiago, MSN, CRNP, NP-C, System Director of Patient Experience at Tower Health. "Listening to the voices of patients and families is essential to creating a truly compassionate and inclusive healthcare environment."
The Reading Hospital PFAC represents a powerful opportunity to build lasting partnerships that enhance care, quality, safety, and experience for everyone who walks through the hospital's doors. Participants will be able to:

Those interested in joining the Reading Hospital PFAC must complete a brief online application by Friday, August 1.
Ideal PFAC participants are individuals who have received care, or family members and caregivers of individuals who have received care, at Reading Hospital or an outpatient location within the past three years. In addition, applicants should be:
Selected applicants will be contacted for follow-up interviews by mid-August, and the final participants will receive orientation and support to participate meaningfully in the council's work. The first meeting is scheduled for September 2025.
