The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) District Four has announced that the South Central Florida Express (SCFE) will perform a remediation repair on S.R. 80/U.S. 98/U.S. 441. Due to this work, eastbound and westbound S.R. 80/U.S. 98/U.S. 441 in Palm Beach County will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic from Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026, at 10 p.m. to Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2026, at 10 p.m.

If necessary to complete the work, this closure will extend to Thursday, Sept. 3, 2026, at 7 a.m.

The roadway closure will allow SCFE workers to safely perform the crossing repairs on the U.S. Sugar crossing. The work will be performed by SCFE contractors.

This closure is necessary to prevent further deterioration and address potential safety concerns.
