Secretly Distribution Announces Global Distribution Deal with Org Music, Premier Destination For High-Quality Vinyl Reissues & Innovative New Releases

Partnership Begins with Series of Funkadelic & Descendents Records, Available Now with More to Be Revealed Soon

Today, Secretly Distribution announces a worldwide distribution deal with Org Music , the Los Angeles-based independent record label that has established itself as a premier destination for both high-quality vinyl reissues and innovative new music. Furthering Org Music's commitment to preserving essential recordings and championing forward-thinking artists, Secretly Distribution will now handle physical and digital music distribution, digital and retail marketing, and technological support for all of the label's releases. They'll start with two newly-revealed reissue series: iconic Funkadelic albums restored and remastered from the original tapes, and classic albums from the Descendents . Created in direct collaboration with the band, the Descendents series will be available in multiple color variants with the original artwork, as well as in Org's own deluxe "Punk Note" edition, featuring new liner notes and alternate cover art.

As a full-service, global partnership, Secretly Distribution's work will also encompass Org Music's collaborations with legendary jazz, blues, soul and funk catalogs from Brunswick Records , Black Lion, Westbound Records, and the GHB Jazz Foundation - home to the historic Paramount Records masters - as well as iconic punk artists like Bad Brains, cult rock n' roll legend Tav Falco, and more.

"All of us at Secretly Distribution are so thrilled to be working with Org Music and their incredible catalog," says Shelly Worcel, Director of Global Physical Strategy at Secretly Distribution. "Their roster of both current and classic music is diverse across genres, geographies, and eras - from their highest-quality vinyl reissues of legendary albums, to global releases for new and groundbreaking artists. Org's focus is on music that is innovative, enduring, and essential. Their ethos and Secretly Distribution's are powerfully aligned, and we are so glad to welcome them to the family!"

"We're thrilled to partner with the talented team at Secretly Distribution," says Andrew Rossiter, Partner and General Manager at Org Music. "Their passion for music and genuine appreciation of our diverse, often niche catalog aligns perfectly with Org Music's vision. Together, we look forward to expanding our reach and sharing exceptional music, both timeless and new, with audiences everywhere."

Beyond reissues, and in addition to operating a unique manufacturing partnership with Furnace Record Pressing, Org Music supports a dynamic roster of contemporary artists including punk innovator Mike Watt, avant-garde jazz drummer William Hooker and trombonist Phil Ranelin, Josh Klinghoffer's Pluralone and Dot Hacker, collaborative group Geckøs - featuring M. Ward and Howe Gelb of Giant Sand - and emerging voices such as Color Green, Zachary Cale, David Hillyard & The Rocksteady 7 and Westbound Train. Secretly Distribution mirrors the label's dedication to exceptional quality control and flexibility across numerous special projects and partnerships, and will continue to amplify its devotion to creative integrity and sonic excellence across generations of artists, collectors and audiophiles.

Through its deal with Secretly Distribution, Org Music now joins a roster of Secretly affiliates such as Dead Oceans, drink sum wtr, Ghostly International, Jagjaguwar, Saddest Factory Records, Secretly Canadian and Numero Group, as well as label partners including Sacred Bones, Captured Tracks, Run For Cover, Rhymesayers, Chrysalis, A24 Music, Merge, Joyful Noise, Father/Daughter, Big Crown, Colemine, Jazz Is Dead, Oh Boy Records and more.
