Summary of Actions Taken by the Dublin City Council on Tuesday, November 5

At its meeting held on Tuesday, November 5, the Dublin City Council took a number of actions. Below is a summary of actions taken:

  • Recognized the Dublin High School students who participated in the Citizenship Training Program, Boys & Girls State sponsored by the American Legion, Department of California.
  • Welcomed and introduced new Dublin Police Services Chief Victor Fox.
  • Approved the minutes of the October 15, 2024, Regular City Council Meeting.
  • Approved the Heritage and Cultural Arts Commission's Basketball Court Mural Art Program recommendations.
  • Authorized the purchase of a replacement stage, dance floor, and related equipment for the Shannon Community Center from Mity-Lite.
  • Approved an Affordable Housing Assistance Agreement with Sunflower Grace, L.P., for the development of the proposed 60-unit Grace Pointe affordable housing project for those with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Approved an Agreement with Precision Emprise, LLC, DBA Precision Concrete Cutting for Sidewalk Inspection and Repair Services.
  • Authorized additional Special Designations of General Fund Reserves for Fiscal Year 2023-24 and confirmed additional General Fund reserve designations.
  • Directed Staff to issue a Letter of Intent between the City and the Dublin Unified School District (DUSD) to accommodate Emerald High School's baseball and softball teams for priority use of certain fields at Fallon Sports Park during the high school season.
