Minister of Foreign Affairs has a telephone conversation with Director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China

On 18 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs, had a telephone conversation with H.E. Mr. Wang Yi, Director of the Office of the Central Foreign Affairs Commission of the Chinese Communist Party and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China (PRC), to discuss Thailand - China bilateral relations and recent developments in the region.

Both sides reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties between Thailand and China, especially as both countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year. They also exchanged views on situations in the region, especially the Thailand - Cambodia border situation, in a frank and constructive manner. They agreed to maintain close dialogue on the issue and work together to safeguard peace and stability in the region.
