At the 2026 National Conference, eClinicalWorks announces a redesigned platform, turnkey agents, clinical intelligence tools, and autonomous operational capabilities among expansion in pharmacy and inpatient care

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - October 23, 2026 - At the 2026 eClinicalWorks and healow National Conference, eClinicalWorks®, one of the largest privately held healthcare technology companies in the United States, and healow® a leading provider of patient engagement and AI-powered healthcare solutions, expect to report revenues exceeding $1.3 billion for 2026.

eClinicalWorks continues to drive innovation in cloud-based electronic health records (EHR), revenue cycle management (RCM), population health, and value-based care, empowering healthcare providers with advanced technology to improve clinical efficiency, streamline operations, and enhance patient outcomes.

Building on its investments in artificial intelligence, eClinicalWorks will enable customers with next-generation Agentic RCM and Agentic Value-Based Care solutions, bringing intelligent automation and autonomous capabilities to complex financial, administrative, and care management workflows. These innovations are designed to reduce administrative burdens, optimize financial performance, improve care coordination, and help healthcare organizations succeed in an increasingly value-based healthcare environment.

healow is expected to achieve a significant milestone, with record revenues of $175 million in 2026, driven by accelerating adoption of its AI-powered solutions. These innovations are transforming patient engagement, strengthening patient-provider connections, automating administrative workflows, optimizing revenue cycle management, and delivering seamless digital healthcare experiences.

Together, eClinicalWorks and healow continue to advance their shared vision of transforming healthcare through AI-powered innovation, agentic automation, and connected patient experiences-empowering providers to operate more efficiently while delivering better experiences and outcomes for patients. eClinicalWorks also announced two new business units designed to support specialized areas of practice: an AI-native inpatient hospital EHR and a pharmacy management system for integrated, inpatient, and retail pharmacies.

"The big change is not simply adding AI features to an existing system. We have reimagined the product around AI and agents, so intelligence is built into the way work gets done," said Girish Navani, CEO and cofounder of eClinicalWorks. "Surpassing $1.3 billion in projected combined revenue reflects the trust our customers place in eClinicalWorks and gives us the scale to keep investing in technology that helps hospital systems and healthcare organizations create efficiency, grow their operations and remain competitive without needing the resources of a large health system."

Expanding beyond ambulatory care across the care continuum

eClinicalWorks is also expanding beyond its traditional ambulatory footprint with new pharmacy and inpatient hospital business units. Together, the additions are designed to connect outpatient, pharmacy, and hospital workflows through a more complete patient record while extending the company's technology to hospital systems across more points of care.

The new pharmacy management system is built directly into the EHR to connect pharmacists, providers, and patients through a shared record. Developed in partnership with East Georgia Healthcare Center, the platform supports real-time inventory visibility, claims adjudication, electronic prior authorizations, 340B compliance, and patient prescription notifications. It also uses healow Genie, the company's AI contact center, to respond to patient calls about refill requests, prescription status, and other common needs.

"We did not want to simply replace one pharmacy system with another. We wanted to build something that worked for our pharmacists, providers, and patients," said Jennie Wren Denmark, CEO of East Georgia Healthcare Center. "Over the past two years, our team has worked closely with eClinicalWorks to shape a solution around the realities of community health. Bringing the pharmacy and patient record together will reduce duplication and give our teams a clearer, more complete view of each patient."

The new AI-native inpatient hospital EHR extends eClinicalWorks into hospital settings. The AI-driven solution is designed to automate routine processes, improve resource utilization, and support staff efficiency while connecting hospital care with the company's ambulatory care and pharmacy management system. eClinicalWorks has commitments from hospitals that are planning to go live by the end of this year, as it builds a dedicated business focused on the needs of hospitals.

"We're excited to partner with eClinicalWorks as we build the technology foundation for our hospital," said Raji Kumar, CEO of American Specialty Hospital. "What stands out to us about Acute Care is the vision of a connected, AI-first platform designed around how hospitals operate today. We believe this approach can help our teams work more efficiently while allowing us to remain focused on delivering an exceptional patient experience."

"Riceland Healthcare is proud to be at the forefront of this initiative as we prepare to implement and deploy the inpatient EHR at Winnie Community Hospital, marking an exciting milestone in our commitment to transforming healthcare delivery," said Saad Javed, CEO of Riceland Healthcare. "Our partnership with eClinicalWorks has been instrumental in turning this vision into reality. This achievement represents more than technological advancement - it reflects our shared commitment to connected care, stronger clinical collaboration, and better patient outcomes."

A simpler EHR experience built around the work at hand

Version 12.04 introduces Canvas for Care, a redesigned workspace that brings patient context, task queues, AI-generated summaries, recommendations and actions into one place. The new experience is intended to reduce clicks, pop-ups and fragmented navigation, helping clinicians and staff review information and move care forward without repeatedly switching screens. The goal is to make routine work easier to complete and relevant information easier to find and act on, without requiring a large IT team or a collection of separate products. eClinicalWorks will begin deploying the new technologies to customers on November 1.
eClinicalWorks also announced the rollout of healowIQ to customers. Integrated with EBSCO DynaMed®, the conversational clinical intelligence solution combines the patient record with trusted, evidence-based content so clinicians can ask natural-language questions and review patient-specific information and supporting clinical evidence without leaving the patient record. A new clinical trial enhancement will also surface potentially relevant research opportunities within the care workflow.

Agentic AI across clinical and operational workflows

The new AI Workbench allows healthcare organizations to create, deploy and manage AI agents for operational work such as revenue cycle management, referrals, prior authorization and value-based care. The platform includes a marketplace of prebuilt agents and the ability to create workflows that can be started manually or automatically. Building on standard integrations such as REST and FHIR APIs, eClinicalWorks is also introducing support for Model Context Protocol endpoints in AI workbench, enabling organizations to connect their own applications and workflows to the eClinicalWorks platform.

At the National Conference Build-A-Thon, attendees will be able to see the platform and will have the opportunity to have an immersive experience by participating and building their agents using the AI workbench.

eClinicalWorks is also applying AI agents in RCM to automate end-to-end revenue cycle operations using an agentic approach, which will automate 98% of manual work. Autonomous revenue cycle management monitors revenue-cycle activity to help practices identify denials, uncover reimbursement opportunities, and reduce manual follow-up. Agentic value-based care helps organizations identify cost drivers, pinpoint high-risk patients, notify care teams and providers, determine where follow-ups are needed, and automate manual tasks, saving staff hours of manual work.

Additional updates across the platform

The National Conference announcements also include updates designed to make existing eClinicalWorks solutions more useful in everyday care:

  • Sunoh.ai®: Adds improved order accuracy, expanded language options, and new tools for personalization, editing, synthesis, and summarization, helping clinicians turn ambient conversations into usable clinical documentation.
  • PRISMA Pre-Visit Planning: Brings together referral information, care gaps, patient history and AI-generated recommendations before the encounter so care teams can prepare with a more complete view of the patient.
  • eClinicalTouch offline mode: Allows users to view schedules and patient information and capture Sunoh.ai conversations without an internet connection, supporting continuity when connectivity is limited.
  • healow Genie™: Extends AI-powered patient access by handling common calls and requests, helping practices make scheduling and routine service interactions more responsive and utilize AI workbench to further automate manual tasks.
