City of Montgomery Parks & Recreation Opens Registration for Kids & Teens Summer Program
The City of Montgomery Parks & Recreation Department is excited to open registration for our annual Kids & Teens Summer Program on April 4, 2026. The program runs June 1-July 24 and welcomes youth ages 6-17 for a safe, fun, and enriching summer experience.
For a one-time $50 registration fee, participants will enjoy a full slate of activities, including:
- Arts & crafts
- Open gym time
- Special events
- Field trips
- Esports
A daily healthy lunch will be provided through the Break for a Plate Summer initiative.
Program locations & ages
- Ages 6-12: Activities offered at multiple community centers across Montgomery.
- Ages 13-17: Teen sessions hosted exclusively at Goodwyn Community Center.
How to register
Registration is in-person only at your preferred community center (cash payments preferred; online registration is not available). For a list of participating centers and contact numbers, please see the attached flyer or call the Parks & Recreation Department at (334) 625-2300.
