Oregon Protects the Integrity of American Elections with Critical Court Victory

Today, a federal judge ruled overwhelmingly in favor of Oregon and Washington in the states' lawsuit against the Trump Administration's illegal executive order from March 25, 2025, which sought to undermine the Constitution and give Presidents the power to interfere in U.S. elections.

Oregon Secretary of State Tobias Read released the following statement on this critical victory:

"The Trump administration attacked American elections with an illegal executive order. Today, we put a stop to that nonsense. This is a win for the Constitution and the American people. Presidents don't get to rig elections. Period."
