Quick response by Hermitage Precinct officers to Thursday afternoon's reported robbery of Chase Bank at 5570 Old Hickory Boulevard led to the apprehension of suspect Charles Suiters, 44, at a nearby apartment complex.
A man matching Suiters' description entered the bank at 4:15 p.m. and passed a robbery demand note to a teller. The teller complied and the robber fled to a wood line at the rear of the bank. Hermitage Precinct officers flooded the area and located Suiters outside in a nearby apartment complex. Bank employees identified him as the robber.
Suiters is charged with robbery. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $25,000.
