Promotions in Opinion

Sarah Wildman is being promoted to senior staff editor. Sarah has worked on some of our toughest story lines, including Oct. 7, the war in Gaza, antisemitism, trans issues, abortion and immigration, not to mention her moving writing on child loss. She has done it all with impressive grace and sensitivity. But she contains multitudes! She has also edited and contributed some very popular culture stories about having a sexy time in Paris and mothers playing catch with their sons .

Sarah edits the contributing Opinion writers Peter Beinart and Mairav Zonszein, and has contributed to numerous audio projects, as well as last year's powerful video on ICE detaining people who came to the United States legally (which accompanied an article she reported on the topic). Last year she won a Deadline Club Award and a National Press Foundation Award for her writing. This is such a well-deserved promotion!
