At Kimball International, we are committed to minimizing our environmental footprint while incorporating sustainability into our product design and development processes. We are proud to partner with Seaqual Initiative to offer panel fabrics that are created from plastic marine litter.
The Seaqual Initiative is a unique collaborative community that works with ocean clean-up programs around the world to bring value to recovered waste. Seaqual Marine Plastic is upcycled into yarns, which are then woven into textiles.
Our Grade B panel fabrics Abroad, Deliver, and Post, are created using Seaqual Yarns. These fabrics are bleach cleanable and are ideal for use in healthcare administrative spaces and other high-use areas. Their color palettes were developed to blend seamlessly with our wood tones, seating fabrics, and paints to provide a simple way to create unique signature spaces.
