A Bucks County resident is calling out corrupt Bob Harvie, the subject of an FBI investigation, in a scathing new op-ed. Corrupt Harvie and his cronies shamefully overrode health experts' recommendations and unnecessarily kept healthy Bucks County students in masks and out of schools at the direction of his former campaign manager.
When corrupt Harvie and his cronies were challenged on their anti-science approach, they responded by wasting more than $20,000 of taxpayer money attacking concerned Bucks County parents.
"Corrupt Bob Harvie, the subject of an FBI investigation, did irreparable damage to Bucks County students just to score political points with his radical base. Pennsylvanians know corrupt Harvie will never stand up for them when it counts." - NRCC Spokesman Reilly Richardson

Commissioners want Bucks County to forget their Covid dishonesty

On September 17, 2025, I went to the Bucks County Commissioners meeting to discuss emails I received from a right to know lawsuit filed in May 2022 by the Bucks County Commissioners - who have incurred $3,000 in court fines- because they wanted to hide their emails from the public. As more information comes out, we know with even greater certainty children were hurt immensely because of Covid lockdowns. Our society will never fully know the impact unnecessary lockdowns had on kids.
After a year and a half of children not being able to attend school normally in 2020 and most of 2021, Bucks County students were set to go back to regular school during the 2021/22 school year. According to many emails I received from open records requests, our county health director was most likely forced into writing health guidance to send to schools to allow them to go back to normal because superintendents were too cowardly to do it themselves. After Dr. David Damsker released the health guidance that recommended Covid to be treated like the flu on August 15, 2021, no one ever heard from him on that subject again.
Then, on August 17, 2021, Bucks County government issued a press release stating that county officials believe kids should wear masks. Six days later, the Bucks County Health Department announced an official health guidance permitting schools to quarantine students, i.e., keep healthy kids home from school. A group of parents including myself put in several records requests to find out what happened because we knew Damsker did not write this fraudulent health guidance on which local schools were relying.
My friends and I were able to put together a timeline of what took place leading up to releasing the fraudulent Covid guidance sent to every public school in Bucks County on August 23, 2021. Recently, I came across two emails that were released in one of the many court cases we won. One email clearly shows that Eric Nagy, the Bucks County communications director who served as a political advisor to Commissioner Diane Ellis-Marseglia (D), crafted the August 17 press release that recommended children wear masks. Another email written by the commissioner herself on August 29, after superintendents received the fraudulent health guidance, states that she wanted Nagy to write another statement coming from Damsker because she was getting too many emails that stated people did not believe the guidance came from him. Because it didn't.
Ellis-Marseglia apparently didn't like my public comment explaining the emails I received. In true Democrat style, instead of finally owning up to the truth, she told me that no one wants to talk about Covid anymore. (As far as I am aware, I can use my three minutes during a public meeting to discuss anything I want to discuss.) Then she supposed that I must be uneducated because I don't understand dates of emails, yet she failed to debunk my timeline detailing these events. Then she proceeded to disparage me because I am a stay at home mom and do not have full time job.
I realize many radically liberal women like her do not value stay-at-home moms. Her remarks toward me make that clear. Ellis-Marseglia and her radically liberal board colleague Bob Harvie - who is now running for Congress - can keep making false and dishonest statements while wasting taxpayer money to hide their own words because, for some reason I cannot understand, people vote for them. Like Alexis de Tocqueville, the French diplomat and philosopher, wrote in Democracy in America (1835), "In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve."
In local elections, voter turnout is extremely low. I guess Bucks Countians voting in past elections thought Diane Ellis-Marseglia was all Bucks County deserved, which is sad - especially for children. Hopefully voters change their minds in 2027.
