SOUTH FULTON, GA (May 7, 2025) - The City of South Fulton invites residents to attend the final public meeting to review and provide feedback on concept plans for the redevelopment of three key areas: Roosevelt Hwy/Red Oak, South Fulton Pkwy/Cedar Grove Rd, and the Old National District. The meeting will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 6:00 - 7:30 PM at Burdett Park located at 2945 Burdett Rd, South Fulton, GA 30349.
This event is part of the city's ongoing initiative to reimagine these catalytic sites, ensuring sustainable growth, enhanced livability, and community-driven development. Attendees will have the opportunity to view concept plans that reflect input gathered during previous community visioning meetings, the community design session, and through the online engagement platform, https://futureofsouthfulton.com .
"We are excited to share the final plans that we've created with the community to shape the City of South Fulton's future," said Carmen Y. Davis, City of South Fulton Assistant City Manager. "This is a chance for residents to see their ideas come to life and to ensure plans align with their vision for our city's growth and development."
The meeting will be an open house format where concept plans will be displayed for viewing by community members and stakeholders. The city's Economic Development team, in collaboration with a consultant team led by the Sizemore Group, has worked diligently to incorporate stakeholders' perspectives into the draft designs.
